Work with stickers and wallpaper was connected with postconceptual understanding of suspended picture function. Stratil reacted to the possibility to express the schemes of artistic imagery via new materials that evoke new consumer experience of the society. Apart from composed abstract or semi-abstract pieces, the works included series of wallpaper ready-made, whose subject-matter was predominantly the value of work, and the idea of the need for handmade creation of a picture was provoked. Although many of the pictures paraphrased Stratil's own work of the 80s, their simplicity was its denial.
