Swimmers in Subway

A performance on a Prague subway platform, which was flooded in the summer of 2002. I managed to change the video of the subway displayed near the tracks to include swimmers added with a special effects program. This opened a new field for me: video-montage in public places. I put an emphasis on visualizations which communicate with onlookers and the surrounding spaces, letting me learn from people’s reactions. The more screens and new medias of this types are in public places, the more combinations of reality with illusion it will be possible to construct.
