Limitations

A project realized within the framework of an exchange program at the Rhode Island School of Design. It consisted of seven one-day self-limiting actions. For every single day I created a cardboard banner that I fastened on various parts of my body. The function of these proclamations was to declare limitations I imposed upon myself to limit my movements.

Saturday 5/11 2002: I don’t speak today

Sunday 5/12 2002 I don’t hear today

Monday 5/13 2002 I don’t turn my head today

Tuesday 5/14 2002 I don‘t walk forward today

Wednesday 5/15 2002 I don‘t move my hand today

Thursday 5/16 2002 I don‘t sit down today

Friday 5/17 2002 I don‘t walk fast today
